Runcorn Town in seventh heaven
Table-toppers Runcorn Town kept their 100% record well and truly alive after thrashing struggling Wolverhampton Sporting Community 7-0 at the Viridor Stadium.
Ryan Katumba’s hat-trick, a late Jamie Apperley brace and one apiece from Tom Ruffer and Jorge Dwyer completed the rout – unsurprisingly the biggest win across the Counties as a whole this season to date.
Leading 2-0 at the break, Runcorn stepped up the gears after the break in a game between two sides having polar opposite seasons so far. Defeat here means Wolves still have their own 100% record – losing all four games to date.

New Mills reach fifth gear
New Mills ran out 5-3 winners at struggling Haughmond, who played for over an hour with ten men following Ryan Taylor’s red card with the game at 1-1.
The Millers went in 2-1 up thanks to goals from Will Shawcross and Jack Lever -either side of Harvey Lewis’ converted penalty. Second half goals from James Perry and Maysan Benarbia (2) ensured Chris Baguley’s side maintained their impressive unbeaten start.
The Shropshire side mounted a comeback in the closing stages with Ethan Pickford scoring the side’s second penalty, and Lewis adding his second of the afternoon, but the gap was too wide at this point.
Georgians snatch win in added time
Stockport Georgians broke Ashville hearts by claiming a 1-0 win with Finley Rorke’s winner coming five minutes into added time.
Ashville had played the majority of the game a man down due to Jamie Barrigan’s dismissal after just 21 minutes.
Three wins out of four for Georgians to start the season unsurprisingly sees them in the top five early doors.

Nomads bounce back to defeat Lairds
Cheadle Heath Nomads came from a goal behind to beat still-winless Cammell Laird 3-1.
Conor Doyle put Lairds ahead after 12 minutes, but their lead only lasted three minutes before an own goal levelled the game for the hosts.
Kaylan Wilkinson put his side ahead just before the break, with Jack Ryan settling it at the 50 minute mark. Ben Graham’s red card for a second booking 15 minutes from time didn’t help matters for Lairds, who have one point on the board to date.

Defeat for Sandbach, Barnton and Alsager
Sandbach United fell foul of a promising Telford Town side who look right at home in their first season at Step 6.
The Ramblers were beaten 3-0 by the unbeaten upstarts with goals from Jack Howse, Josh Hesson and Harry Dear.

Barnton were Stafford Town’s latest victims, as the play-off finalists look to build another promotion push while picking up a 4-1 win.
James May put Stafford ahead, only to be pegged back immediately by Jack Smith’s penalty – but a second half Matthew Hearsey hat-trick ensured Stafford retained their perfect start.

Alsager Town have made a slow start this season, and still have a single point to show for it after a 4-1 loss at Wolverhampton Casusals.
Finley Jackson did give The Bullets the lead, but the hosts fought back and goals from Jonathan Letford (2), Charlie Swingwood and Kyri Kourouyianni sealed a first win for Cassies in the Counties.
