Charnock Richard return to winning ways
Charnock Richard returned to winning ways for the first time in five North West Counties Premier Division games after dismissing Lower Breck 3-1 at Mossie Park.
Matt Davies opened the scoring for Charnock Richard with his fifth of the season after eight minutes, and Ryan Donnellan’s side were 2-0 to the good following Nathan Nickeas’ converted penalty 20 minutes later.
Lewis Buckley pulled one back for the visitors before the break – also from the penalty spot – but Fenton Davies wrapped up the three points late on. A late red card for Michael Fitzgerald left Lower Breck with little to cheer from this match.

Ravens head home with three points
FC Isle of Man took full advantage of a sparse fixture list and jumped into the playoff positions with a 3-1 victory at Longridge Town.
The Ravens picked up a second win in as many weekends in a game where all four goals came before the break. Luke Booth opened the scoring for the visitors after eight minutes, before Harvey Roberts responded for the hosts eight minutes later.
Charlie Higgins put the visitors ahead with his third of the season on 33 minutes, and Booth neatly bookended the scoring by completing his brace ten minutes before the break. Out-of-form Longridge have now lost five of their last six league matches.
South Liverpool draw… again
South Liverpool came from behind to pick up a fourth draw in five matches in a game that ended 1-1 against Burscough.
John McGrath had given Burscough the half time lead on 40 minutes with a dipping free kick, but Charlie Glennon’s first of the season drew the home side level with ten minutes remaining.
Squires Gate and Litherland REMYCA played out a goalless draw in front of 101, with both sides remaining in the bottom half. It’s a fourth home draw for the Blackpool side, and a fourth away draw for the visitors.

Pilkington vs Prestwich abandoned
The game between Pilkington and Prestwich Heys was abandoned at half-time due to a serious injury to Heys’ top goalscorer Dylan Fitzgerald. The game was goalless at the time of abandonment.
Elsewhere. FC St Helens‘ game against Cheadle Town was off due to a waterlogged pitch.
